Travels to Iligh in Morocco is the Blog about the making of the graphic story: The Tears of Iligh. The story takes a long time to come to fruition. In real time there are two separate things going on at the same time: the actions to preserve the heritage of the House of Iligh by Bert Hogervorst and Aicha Aboudmiaa and the making of a story about the Dutch connection with Iligh by Bert Hogervorst and me. The two things are both separate and closely connected. It takes me all over the place. To keep track of all the processes I keep a Blog.

Travels to Iligh in Morocco is de Blog over het maken van de strip: De Tranen van Iligh. De strip is lang in de maak omdat er tegelijk twee dingen aan de gang zijn: de bemoeienis van Bert Hogervorst en Aicha Aboudmiaa om het erfgoed van het Huis van Iligh veilig te stellen en het maken van de strip over de Nederlandse connectie met Iligh door mij en Bert Hogervorst. De twee zaken zijn gescheiden, maar tegelijk nauw verbonden met elkaar. Het voert me her en der zowel fysiek als in de geest. Om niet verdwaald te raken in de veelheid van informatie en om alle avonturen en ontmoetingen te kunnen onthouden ben ik deze Blog begonnen.
